Schlitterbahn offers a break location where all associates can purchase food to enjoy. The location is known as the Associate Cafe.

Associate Cafe
The Associate Cafe is located in Blastenhoff, inside the park. Associates can enjoy food and drinks at associate pricing. Associate cafe opens daily at 11am and closes 1 hour before the park. Associates can enjoy FREE Powerade at our Associate Cafe.

Schlitterbahn Discount
As a Schlitterbahn associate, when you are not working, you will receive a 30% discount on food and merchandise in the park. You will need to show a valid Schlitterbahn ID to receive this discount.

Off Property Dining & Retail


Randall's Shop from a variety of fresh seafood, floral, cosmetic, bakery and film processing departments. Many locations even offer bank branches, ATMs, coffee shops, drive-through pharmacy windows, fueling stations and full-service counters where a customer can purchase lottery or movie tickets, pay utility bills and car license renewals. Located off 2931 Central City Blvd Galveston, TX 77551

Wal-Mart Supercenter
Walmart Supercenters offer a one-stop shopping experience by combining a grocery store with fresh produce, bakery, deli and dairy products with electronics, apparel, toys and home furnishings. Located at 6702 Seawall Blvd, Galveston, TX 77551

The Strand
Once known as the “Wall Street of the South,” the Strand is the main shopping street in the historic downtown area. Shopping here is a treat. Instead of packed malls and stuffy high-end stores, you will find quaint gift shops, art galleries, and cafes to rest your feet when you need a little break. As you pop in and out of the varied shops, admire the 19th-century architecture lining the district, recognized as a National Historic Landmark.

Postoffice Street
With more than 100 shops in the area covering over 70 blocks. It’s all doable on foot, so bring your walking shoes and make a day of it. Get a dose of culture along with shopping goodies on Postoffice Street, known for its artsy vibe and antique shops. The area is also home to The Grand 1894 Opera House, which you can’t miss. Pay a visit to the famed landmark while you’re out and about and buy a ticket to an upcoming show.

Seawall Boulevard
This is another great shopping area, with stores selling everything from beach gear to souvenirs. One of the most popular on the Seawall is Murdoch's. It’s the place to go when you need surfwear or gifts, souvenirs, beach supplies, cold beverages, snacks, and a back deck with exceptional views of the Gulf of Mexico.
