Possession of prohibited items in Cedar Point Associate Housing may result in a housing violation, up to and including eviction. At the discretion of Resident Life Leadership and the Cedar Point Security Team, certain items may be immediately confiscated and/or discarded.

Cedar Point is not liable for damage to an associate’s property caused by acts of nature, or by failure of plumbing, electric, gas, water or other fixtures, or damage caused from acts of negligence by other associates of the building or campus. This includes items that are abandoned, lost, stolen, or damaged while on Cedar Point property.

Recommended Items

• Bed Linens (twin sized)
• Bath Towel/Robe
• Fan
• Headphones
• Laundry Supplies (detergent, fabric softener, etc.)
• Padlock
• Personal Hygiene Tools (body wash, shampoo, deodorant, etc.)
• Pillow
• Shower Shoes

One unit of hand-held pepper spray, which must be TSA approved, is permitted per resident of Associate Housing.

Please pack clothing for a wide range of weather. The weather in Sandusky, Ohio can change quickly, and it is best to be prepared. When packing, please keep in mind that space is limited in each room on the Housing Campus and that other roommates will also have personal belongings.

Personal computers, gaming systems, and TVs are permitted, however, owners bring these items to the Associate Housing Campus at their own risk. Please keep a copy of the items’ serial numbers in case you need to show proof of ownership.
