When you think about Cedar Point today, you can understand why guest expectations can be an endeavor. There are so many areas to engage with our guests, from tolls to admissions to hotels, restaurants and of course, our amazing rides! As Cedar Point associates, we are always “on,” and must always be ready to provide meaningful service.
Cedar Point wasn’t always this big, of course. The park started as just a simple bathing beach and bathhouse back in 1870. Guests would visit by steamship and spend one day enjoying Lake Erie and quality time together. They would depart back home, and the process would repeat throughout the summer. As Cedar Point grew, so did the need for a team that would ensure guests could put their daily lives on pause and enjoy a welcome escape, here at Cedar Point.
The family tradition of visiting Cedar Point hasn’t really changed. Guests still arrive from around the world, anxious to spend time together. They seek and expect an exceptional experience. I am grateful you will be here to make it happen: every day - every guest - every time.
